we serve... service to the community... learning new skills... building lasting friendships...

District 201Q2, Queensland, Australia

Lions Club of Trinity Beach Inc.

Trinity Beach is located 20 kilometres north of Cairns in the tropical north of Australia, in the State of Queensland.

Can you serve the community on the Northern Beaches of Cairns and the surrounding region as a Lion?

Who are Lions?

There is a lot more information about Lions Clubs in the links on this website, but some say that Lions are ordinary people doing extraordinary things!

- fundraising for worthwhile causes, local, national and international

- supporting people with a disability,

- 'hands-on' community projects.

Except for our Summer recess in December and January, we meet in the Yorkey's Knob Boat Club, Buckley Street, Yorkey's Knob on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm for 7:00 pm. (That means we sit down to dinner in the board room upstairs at 7:00 after half an hour of fun and fellowship in the club area downstairs.)

We think we are the friendliest club in Tropical North Queensland, but, to see if we are right and book in for dinner, please contact Lion Jan on 0401 203 545 by midday on the Monday before a scheduled meeting.

Who are we?

We are people just like you who meet the needs of our communities, locally, nationally and around the world.

Did you know that Lions Clubs International was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2008?

Our 1.3 million men and women in 205 countries and geographic areas conduct vision and health screenings, build parks, support eye hospitals, award scholarships, assist youth, provide help in time of disaster and much more.

Becoming a Lion

Lions club members are men and women who strive to make a difference in their local community as well as in communities worldwide. Their volunteer efforts go beyond the support of vision care, to addressing un-met health and education needs worldwide.
